Regulation Rituals™ is the on-demand professional learning program that helps early childhood teams understand why children behave the way they do — and how to design environments, routines, and relationships where every child feels calm, connected, and ready to participate.
Built for whole teams. Designed to be implemented, not just watched.
If you're nodding, you're not alone — and it's not because your team isn't trying hard enough. Most educators are working incredibly hard. The missing piece isn't effort. It's understanding.
When we understand what children's behaviour is actually communicating — about their nervous system, their sensory experience, their need for connection — everything starts to shift.
Every time a child melts down at transitions, can't settle at group time, or seems to be constantly on the move — their body is communicating something. A nervous system that needs support.
Regulation Rituals™ gives your whole team the knowledge and practical tools to understand what children are communicating — and to design the environments, routines, and relational moments that help every child participate, connect, and belong.
A whole-team professional learning program that turns understanding into practice.
Regulation Rituals™ is an on-demand course designed to be worked through by your entire service — together. It's not about adding more to your plate. It's about making small, intentional changes to routines and environments you're already running every day.
Ready to bring this to your team?
Here's how Regulation Rituals™ is delivered — for your whole team:
Eight modules available through a mobile app. Engage during PD sessions, staff meetings, or scheduled learning blocks — at a pace that suits your service.
Tools designed to turn individual learning into team conversation. Use them in staff meetings to embed a shared language across your whole service.
Connect with educators across Australia implementing Regulation Rituals™. Share ideas, ask questions, and see real implementation in rooms like yours.
This is where Regulation Rituals™ becomes genuinely different from any other course you've tried.
Each module is supported by a live, facilitated Learning Circle — a 60–75 minute session led by Sally Galloway (Occupational Therapist).
These aren't webinars. They're working sessions — where the content connects directly to the children your team works with every day.
In each session your team will:
"We've done PD before. Educators come back inspired, and then nothing changes because the rest of the team isn't on the same page."
Regulation Rituals™ is designed to solve that exact problem. When your whole team learns together, you build a shared language — a common way of understanding and talking about children's behaviour that crosses every room, every age group, and every shift.
Instead of one educator trying to implement something in isolation, the whole service shifts together.

Children make sense of the world through eight sensory systems — not just the five we learned in school. Module 4 explores each one and what it means for children in your care.
Sally Galloway is an Occupational Therapist who has spent her career working at the intersection of child development, sensory processing, and early education.
Her commitment to children began long before Regulation Rituals™. Early in her career, Sally founded The Treehouse Initiative — a not-for-profit breaking down barriers so children of all abilities could access sporting and community opportunities. It has since grown into STEPS Autism Treehouse.
As National Manager of Occupational Therapy at Goodstart Early Learning, she supported teams across Australia. In the three years since, she has delivered 90+ professional development workshops and worked in partnership with more than 100 early childhood services nationally.
"Every child deserves to be seen, understood, and celebrated."
