Our Commitment to Child Safety

Your Early Education OT  |  Regulation Rituals®

SG OT Holdings Pty Ltd, trading as Your Early Education OT and Regulation Rituals®, is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every child connected with our work. We believe children have the right to feel safe, be heard, and be respected in every environment they encounter.

We have zero tolerance for child abuse, harm, or neglect of any kind.

Our practice is aligned with the 10 National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and we comply with the Queensland Child Safe Standards under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (Qld), which commenced for our sector on 1 April 2026.

What this looks like in our work

Child safety is embedded in our leadership and culture

As a small business led by an AHPRA-registered occupational therapist with 16 years' experience in early childhood and education, child safety is not an add-on — it is the foundation of why Regulation Rituals® exists and how we operate.

Children's voices matter

While our direct clients are educators and early childhood services, our work ultimately exists to make life safer, calmer, and more attuned for children. We model and teach respect for children's rights, agency, and emotional experience throughout every module of our program.

We support equity and inclusion

We are committed to creating safe and inclusive practice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children with disability, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQ+ children and families. Cultural safety is woven through our content and our coaching.

Our people are suitable and supported

All personnel engaged by SG OT Holdings Pty Ltd in connection with children — including the founder, contractors, and any future employees — hold a current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card), are inducted into our Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct, and undertake ongoing professional development in child safety.

Safe physical and online environments

When we visit early childhood services, we work alongside qualified educators and follow each service's policies on supervision, physical contact, photography, and communication. Educators retain primary responsibility for children at all times. In our online program, we use secure platforms, protect participant privacy, and only use images or stories of children with informed written consent.

Families and communities are partners

We support the services we work with to involve families meaningfully in decisions about children's wellbeing, and we welcome feedback from families about our work.

We respond to concerns

Anyone — a child, family member, educator, contractor, or member of the public — can raise a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child in connection with our services. Concerns are taken seriously, handled confidentially where appropriate, and acted on promptly.
